In a picturesque setting where people are sipping wine, a line like, “hey, that’s good” is a usual phenomenon. What they are saying in real sense is, “hey, I’m good” or “I feel good right now.” Broken down, this is a mood mash-up or wine assessment. And sure, if you drink your wine in such a setting, chances are that you will feel the same, and you will not be wrong. What this means is that conspiracy of circumstances may temporarily turn you into a softer critic.
Getting your mind right does not mean that you should accept to be hoodwinked into thinking that every low quality wine out there is life-elevating. However, it is important to let wine amaze you more often because, after all, you need to experience a different feeling when drinking wine. Any inconsequential annoyances or life challenges should not be allowed to ruin your repast. Big life challenges are a different matter though. Head-in-the-sand burying or full-time rosé-colored wine glasses should not be the way to go. All you need is to be open to pleasure that comes with drinking wine. In fact, you should be bold enough to invite the feeling every time you open a wine bottle.
